Marketing Communications Manager

Downing St, Smethwick

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Communications Manager to be responsible for managing marketing initiatives and communications across Hadley Groups full product range and geographical territories. You will actively seek to learn the markets we serve, as well as the features, benefits and applications of our products and capabilities and be responsible for creating marketing strategies that will create ‘noise’ about the business. Within this role you will manage a small in-house team of two and work closely with agency partners. Whilst this role is predominantly B2B, you will need to adopt a B2C mindset for some of our product range.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis of market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to support marketing strategies
  • Oversee the production of all promotional materials, marketing campaigns and exhibitions ensuring all material is within brand guidelines
  • Review current offerings and come up with initiatives for new products or services
  • With support from your team and agency partners, develop and manage the digital presence; company website, social media and other digital assets that will benefit the growth of new contracts and partners
  • Management of all content and media to ensure relevance to market and copyright and GDPR compliance
  • Be responsible for all external communications activities to support both digital and offline marketing communications, and to manage the full communications calendar with multiple targets and stakeholders
  • Lead the internal communications strategy and tactical execution
  • Plan, build and manage marketing campaigns, tracking their success and ROI
  • Meet with industry leaders, early adopters and innovators to understand how we shape our marketing campaigns to best take advantage of these relationships. Manage a partner of internal resources to produce strategic content pieces that will form the backbone of campaigns
  • Meet with new and potential key customers alongside the sales team to fully understand their needs to develop a relationship with them
  • Create detailed reports and presentations for Sales & Marketing data to be presented to senior stakeholders
  • Produce compelling publications for various media and channels either independently or alongside one of our regional partners


  • A degree in a Marketing or Business related discipline or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Craft CMS, Click dimensions or Microsoft dynamics CRM would be advantageous
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Knowledge of modern marketing techniques
  • Ability to work well under pressure and on multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships
  • Previous experience of managing, supporting and developing teams
  • Flexibility to travel within the UK & Internationally as required
